Swellfy BETA
Swellfy BETA

Born from a passion for the sea, driven by technology.

We blend surfing, science and data analysis to decode the ocean. We turn the complex into the simple.

The site is actively shaping its custom scoring and analysis engine. This is a continuously updating Beta version.

As we are in an experimental Beta phase, occasional discrepancies may occur in the score or tide charts. Our intelligence is undergoing continuous refinement, being analyzed spot by spot daily with real data to achieve maximum precision.

How to use

  1. 1
    Find a spot

Search by name, city or state — or browse state › city › spot. "Pumping now" ranks the best right now.

  2. 2
    Read the score

The 4-square bar + color show the condition (Flat → Excellent). The tiny number is the 0–10 rating.

  3. 3
    Best window & days

See the best time of day, and tap a day on the strip to open its hour-by-hour reading.

  4. 4
    The chart

Filled area = wave energy (joules), line = period, color = quality. Wind, tide and swell direction round out the read.

  5. 5
    Swell map

The satellite radar draws Swell A & B and the vaga (wind-sea) as cones over the spot, plus the wind arrow, the coastline and distance rings — so you see where the energy comes from. Drag the slider under it (or hover the chart) to scrub hour by hour.

  6. 6
    History

Pick a month/year to replay past conditions scored by the same engine — handy to sanity-check against real sessions.

Choose a spot to open the read.
