Privacy policy

What we store

Only what the site needs to work for you:

• Account: name, e-mail and password (stored as a hash — we never see it).
• Preferences: language, units, favourite spots.
• Alerts: the conditions you asked to be warned about, and what was sent.
• Journal: the notes you write about your own sessions.

Without an account we store nothing that identifies you.

Why

To deliver the forecast you asked for, warn you when conditions match what you set, and keep your notes. We do not sell data and we do not share it with advertisers.

How long

While your account exists. Delete the account and it goes with it — immediately, not in thirty days.

Your rights

In Your account → Privacy and data you can, with no e-mail and no waiting:

• Download everything we keep about you, in JSON.
• Delete the account — account, alerts and journal go together.

Deletion asks for your password and a typed confirmation. Not bureaucracy: the password proves it is you, the confirmation proves it is deliberate.
